My portrait sessions are generally studio based but can be on location or in your home if you prefer. The sessions are usually 30 -40 minutes in duration and are about getting a beautiful set of carefully posed images to record your likeness at a moment in time. I feel very privileged that many of my brides return to the studio for me to photograph their children as they arrive.
It is always a pleasure to become someone’s family photographer. The feel of the portrait can be relaxed or formal depending upon your personality or the purpose of the session. I am looking to flatter and obtain the best possible likeness rather than grabbing shots whilst everyone leaps about. Whilst there is a place for this kind of photography I prefer a more creative form of fun shoot.
